Our Staff
Jessie Goodman, Practice Administrator
With 19 years of experience in the medical field, 14 of which were dedicated to Nevada Orthopedics under the guidance of Dr. Shonnard, Jessie brings a wealth of expertise as the Practice Manager. For her, the practice is more than just a job; it's a family. Having lived in Reno for 30 years, she cherishes her life with her husband and two kids. Outside of work, you'll often find her immersed in outdoor activities, engrossed in a good book, or cheering on her son during baseball games.
Lauren Sweeten, Medical Assistant and Clinical Manager
Joining the practice in 2010, Lauren's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Having worked in every position within the office, she brings a deep understanding of the practice's dynamics. Her certification as a Medical Assistant in 2016 further solidifies her commitment to excellence. Beyond the office, Lauren enjoys family camping trips and supporting her son in his sporting activities. Lauren has a passion for all things cooking and is quite the amazing chef.
Lora Sass, Surgery Coordinator
With over 18 years of experience in the medical field, Lora is an invaluable asset as the Surgery Coordinator since joining the practice in 2019. Crafting and cooking are not just hobbies for her; they're passions that bring joy to her life. When not organizing surgeries, she loves spending quality time with her husband and two daughters, creating memories that last a lifetime.
